Follow this guide to securely close your Plastic Bank account and request the permanent erasure of your personal data from our systems. This step-by-step process ensures you provide the necessary verification to finalize your account removal successfully.

2. Scroll to the Data & Privacy section at the bottom and click the "Request Account Deletion" to start the process.

3. The first step is to confirm your request.

After typing DELETE and clicking "Submit Deletion Request" you will be emailed a one-time passcode to confirm that you made the request.

5. The email comes in with a subject of "Verify your account deletion request"

If it does not arrive, please check your SPAM filter. You must enter the OTP to complete the request so we know it came from the account holder.

6. After verifying the code, you get a message that tells you that the account deletion request has been submitted.

When the deletion has taken place, you will receive a notification from Plastic Bank telling you that we have completed your request. Some users will receive two notifications. That is an expected behavior.

If you don't receive the OTP, please go to https://plasticbank.com/techsupport/ and submit your request or email our Data Privacy Officer at [email protected] and we will manually confirm the request.
